LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, two of the biggest stars in the league and opponents in the N.B.A. finals, told reporters on Tuesday that their teams would not participate in the traditional ceremony. They were speaking in response to questions about the president’s handling of the Eagles’ visit.

  1. I love this article. I love that these men are standing up for themselves and their beliefs. I honor and respect them for not going to the WH
    for PR with djt…..I stand with them and would take a knee with them too….Basketball and football are all about the players and not about djt..
    not about the flag nor about the military….nor the national anthem..
