Republican Elite’s Reign of Disdain – The New York Times

There is (anger) if the customers/voters decide to burn down the restaurant, sending avowed arsonist after arsonist to the site, saying, “do your thing!”

That anger is mutual comfort–it really says the previous obstruction/bad food/lousy service did not go far enough; too many people still clamored for its offerings. So not only the establishment/government must be punished (an illusion, since new chefs and staff (Congress and a President) will be elected!), but the customers must lose their benefits because prior arsons were contested–and some tried to rebuild.

Lumping them all together makes it impossible to separate the good from the bad and certainly offers no plan for a fix! We all need good food–and good government!
